An authentic reproduction of the old arcade classic.

  1. Simple tilt play.

  2. Multiple landscapes.

DESCRIPTION

Think you could land a space craft on the surface of a moon without crashing? Well now you can test your skill with this incredibly addictive game. Simply tilt your iPhone/iPod to rotate your Lander and touch any part of the screen to fire your thrusters - then just simply land on one of the 6 landing pads in each level and see if you can survive. Keep an eye on your fuel.

INSTRUCTIONS

Simply tilt the phone to rotate the Lander and touch the screen to fire your thrusters. Make sure you land very carefully as your Lander is very fragile. Search out the 6 landing pads for each level - to progress you must land on all 6 landing pads.

Points are awarded for the landing.

Bonus Points are awarded for the difficulty of the landing pad.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q

How do you turn?

A

Hold the phone as shown above and tilt the top of the phone towards you. The game can not be played flat. Then tilt the phone left or right depending on where you want the force of your thrust to take you.

Q

I keep crashing but there are no red indicators?

A

If you crash and there are no red indications then you have hit the landscape or you are not quite on the landing pad. Particularly difficult pads like x7 and x8 require you to be very precise.

Q

How many levels are there?

A

There are 12 pad configurations that repeat however the landscape is different for every level - so see if you can make it to level 100...

HINTS & TIPS

These hints will allow you to get a better score.

  1. 1.General

The main aim of the game is to get fuel bonuses without crashing your Lander. Fuel bonuses are given when you first land on a Pad (subsequent landings will only give you a score bonus). Fuel bonuses are also given at the end of each level.

You must land on all 6 pads successfully to move on to the next level.

Each level has its own difficulties such as more distant landing pads and difficult landing locations. Also gravity will slowly increase on each level.

Tilt the device in the direct you wish to go and touch anywhere on the screen to fire your thrusters.

  1. 2.Landing

You must make sure that when you land you land exactly on the pad. You must also make sure that:

Horizontal Speed is less than 10

Vertical Speed is less than 10

Angle is between 350 and 10.

If you crash outside of these they will appear red to indicate the reason for the crash.

  1. 3.Thrusters

The Thrusters take approximately 2 seconds to reach maximum thrust - so use this to your advantage. Maximum thrust should be used sparingly as it uses the most fuel.

  1. 4.Strategy

Alway land on the most difficult landing pad first - you will get more fuel bonus and last longer. Also not all the landing pads are initially on the screen but hunt the right hand ones first as you are travelling in that direction at the start.
